Konami and Voltage PR has jumped on the zombie craze. It seems obvious that the artstyle of the game has been inspired by Left4Dead. Zombie Apocalypse will be ready to download for XBLA & the PSN this summer.
SCE has revealed yet another firmware update for the PlayStation Portable system. This update which lands on April 21st features memory stick improvements & Internet search for games directly from the XMB. Read the full press release below.

System software update v5.50 for PSP™ now allows unregistered users to check out PlayStation®Store and view the Information Board
London – April 20, 2009: The doors to PlayStation®Store have just opened wide thanks to the latest system software update for PSP™ (PlayStation®Portable). The v5.50 upgrade means you no longer need a PlayStation®Network account to do a quick bit of window shopping – you can check out all the latest games, trailers and demos available for download from your PSP.
But that’s not all the upgrade offers. PSP users will now be able to view PlayStation Network’s Information Board on the PSP system’s XMB (XrossMediaBar) interface– the live news feed detailing the latest exciting PlayStation Store offers – on their screen (as long as they are WiFi connected).

Tomy has recently released Party Fun Pirate for the Nintendo Wii. This WiiWare title, is an adaptation of the popular Pop-Up Pirate toy.
